Welcome to

This web site is about Supernatural
Beings.
It's about Angels!
Angels are ethereal beings whose primary duties are to
assist and to serve God. They act as God's liaison, agent or
messenger to life on our planet; in addition to being God's
attendants and guardians to humankind. In many ancient
scriptures and writings, it is predominantly Angels that carry
out the will of God.
The Etymology of the English word Angel, originated from the
Latin word angelus. That was derived from the Greek
word angelos. Translated, the word means "messenger."
The presence of Angels can be found in many ancient and current
religions including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and
Zoroastrianism to name but a few. In Hebrew, the word
mal'akh has the same meaning.
What's particularly interesting when studying Angels, are
certain similarities to other beings, Not-Of-This-Earth,
as found in the myths and legends of other cultures. Were
their gods and goddesses really what we have come to know
and call Angels? Could it be that our ancient predecessors
were more sensitive to the supernatural than we are? If
Angels are close to humanity, do we come in touch with them
on a regular basis, only not to see them?
Certainly the billions of people who adhere to a devout
belief in today's structured religions, combined with the
billions of previous inhabitants of our planet, can not be
wrong. ANGELS REALLY DO EXIST!
How Can I Recognize An
Angel?
Many ask "how can I recognize an Angel?"
The most important first step to "tuning in" to an Angelic
presence is as simple as it may be difficult. YOU MUST
BELIEVE THAT ANGELS EXIST! If you cannot bring yourself to
acknowledge their existence and reality, one can only hope
they feel that your life-purpose is important enough for
them to reveal themselves to you.
For those of us who do believe in Angels, there is no
question that it would be much easier recognizing them if all
Angels wore uniforms or, better yet, were required to announce
their presence. Unfortunately, they do not. The truth is, "it
is not important to the Angels that we recognize them for who
they are." That is not germane to their mission when they are
interacting with us.
In fact, when reviewing the many recounts of Angelic
appearances, it seems that Angels materialize most frequently
when and where they are needed. Then, they mysteriously
disappear or become invisible. Generally, it is believed that
Angels can only be in one place at a time.
I Think I Just Met An
Angel!
RARELY are there instances where a contactee is
aware they are interacting with an Angel at the time the
visit is taking place. Most often, they become aware of
their visitor's identity once the event has concluded and
they are reflecting upon it.
TIP: Here's a nifty little trick to
help you determine if you have been blessed by a visit; Add the
result of the contact to the phrase "Had it not been
for ..." For example: "Had it not been for
stopping to help a stranger with directions, I would have been
standing precisely where the car jumped the curb!"
What Do Angels Look
Like?
It's particularly interesting that the form
most people associate Angels with is the traditional Angel
with wings. Some say the wings are to identify them as a
Spirit and to emphasize their role as a messenger. To the
best of our knowledge, Angels reported on in the Bible
never appeared this way. Nor did they ever appear as plump
little children with mini-wings. They always appear as
full-grown adults.
Why is that? Because the human mind needs a form it can
relate to. As a result the "Supernatural" Spirit takes on the
physical form of a human. The more familiar, comforting and
pleasing they are to the individuals to whom they appear, the
more acceptable they are.
Keep in mind that when they do appear, their purpose is to
help us and guide us. Not to shock us into a cardiac arrest.
Often, Angels will appear as humans who are so beautiful or
handsome that our thoughts prevent us from recognizing them as
an Angel. We are mesmerized!
Reports from various contactees would indicate that Angels
can and have appeared as male, female, young, old, of various
ethnicity, well dressed, poorly dressed, affluent, destitute,
virile, crippled, handsome, beautiful, ugly, serious or
care-free. In essence, they can appear in virtually any
form they choose. However, no matter what form they choose to
use, their goal is to provide help and guidance in a
non-intrusive way. Our supposition is that it is their
mission that ultimately determines the necessary
appearance needed to accomplish it.
Do Angels Always Take
Form?
Angels are essentially “Spirits” and are
not dependant on a physical body as we humans are. They
can be visible or invisible, auditory only, unseen and
unheard but "felt." They have the freedom to assume any
form necessary in order to accomplish their mission. In
other words, there is no standard form or method they use
to interact with you.
When they are not in the physical form, there are different
ways to tell if you are in the presence of an Angel. Often the
smell of flowers or another pleasing natural scent will
accompany their presence. Sometimes an Angel will announce its
presence with a slight breeze even if all the windows are
closed. The breeze is believed to be the "flutter" of their
wings. Sometimes you may hear a faint or distant sound of
bells, chimes, or trumpets.
How Do Angels Appear In
The Angelic Realm?
Even though they are Spirits, it is said
that Angels are individual and have distinct features
causing them to differ from each other. Artists who have
been inspired, either personally or by another, tend to
depict Angels as beautiful, androgynous humans with wings.
Their hair is almost always long, and their figures often
delicate.
At times, they are shown as powerful beings bearing drawn
swords or other weapons in their hands. Other times, they may
have a halo over their head and be wearing a red or blue robe.
Other popular depictions of Angels are to show them blowing
trumpets or making music in heaven.
While no one can confirm or say for sure how Angels might
appear in their natural environment, it is just as easy to
believe that they have left their mark on humanity by inspiring
some of us to show them as best we can. In all their glory!
